Our Story

Hi, I’m Justin Owen, the proud owner of Department of Doody and a father of five wonderful kids. In 2018, I embarked on this journey with a simple dream: to provide for my family through a business I could call my own. Armed with nothing but determination and a strong work ethic, I set out to build a dog poop pick-up service that would make a real difference in people’s lives.

We started with just 10 clients in our first year, and I was overjoyed! Through word-of-mouth referrals and positive reviews from our amazing clients, we’ve grown tenfold and continue to expand rapidly. We are incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received from our community.

Now we are able to provide year-round pet waste removal services to busy pet parents and their communities. Our team keeps lawns and common areas of every size clean and safe for families and their pets to enjoy.
