Terms of Service
Pricing Policy
Online quotes are typically accurate; however, final pricing is confirmed after the initial yard inspection.
If adjustments are necessary, we will communicate before services continue.
Clients who pause service will be subject to an Initial Cleanup Fee before restarting recurring service.
Payment Policy
One-time cleanups are due upon completion.
Recurring services are billed on the 1st of each month and cover that month’s scheduled visits.
Weekly billing is available and is pre-billed every Sunday.
A $10 late fee applies to unpaid balances.
Accounts with unpaid balances may be removed from the schedule until brought current.
No Access Policy (Locked Gate / Blocked Entry)
If we are unable to access your yard due to:
You will still be charged for the scheduled visit.
We reserve time and labor for your property on your service day. Missed access still incurs operational costs.
We will:
Missed visits due to no access will not be rescheduled. Waste accumulation will be addressed during your next scheduled visit.
Aggressive or Unsafe Dog Policy
We love dogs. However, safety comes first.
If a technician determines a dog is aggressive, territorial, or preventing safe cleanup:
Service will be skipped.
The visit will still be charged.
We will notify you via knock, phone call, and portal update.
If repeated unsafe conditions occur, we reserve the right to cancel service.
Lawn & Yard Condition Policy (Very Important)
Our service depends on visibility.
We are not responsible for missed waste due to:
Overgrown grass
Excessive leaves
Yard debris
Heavy mud or flooding
Snow or ice cover
If your lawn is not maintained or visibility is obstructed, we will scoop what is reasonably visible.
Re-cleans are not provided for waste that was concealed due to lawn conditions.
Satisfaction Guarantee
We offer a 24-hour satisfaction guarantee under the following conditions:
Lawn is properly maintained
Yard is free of excessive debris
Access was provided
No safety issues were present
If these conditions are met and you are unsatisfied, we will return within 24 hours to correct the issue.
Winter & Weather Policy
We operate year-round and will service your yard when conditions are safe.
If severe weather prevents service:
We will return the following week.
Accumulated waste will be handled at that time.
Regular billing remains unchanged.
Cancellation Policy
Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
Provide unlocked and unobstructed access.
Maintain lawn at a manageable height.
Keep yard reasonably free of debris.
Secure aggressive pets indoors.
Ensure payment method is active prior to arrival.
Failure to meet these conditions may result in:
Equipment Disinfection
All equipment is disinfected between properties using kennel-grade disinfectant to prevent cross-contamination.
Marketing & Data Use
By accepting service, you grant permission for Department of Doody to use collected operational data for marketing, advertising, and business improvement purposes.
